tax-microdata-benchmarking
Develops a benchmarked general-purpose dataset for US tax reform analysis.
What it does
Builds the TMD input files for Tax-Calculator: national microdata CSVs from the IRS 2015 Public Use File, benchmarked to IRS Statistics of Income totals, plus weight files that adapt the data to states and Congressional districts. A Python project run with make data; it needs the 2015 PUF licensed from IRS/SOI plus SIPP and CEX survey files. No licence in the sidebar and no licence file.
Licence unknown: we found no licence we could recognise. Check with the maintainers before you reuse the code.
