Who is responsible

When you visit the site

• The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs the IP address of every visitor for security purposes. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
• Fonts and all other files come from tax-oss.com itself. Apart from the visitor statistics below, loading a page does not contact other sites.
• tax-oss.com sets no cookies.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Umami, an open source analytics tool that we run ourselves at [UMAMI HOST]. It uses no cookies and stores no data that identifies you.

It records the page you view, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system, device type and country. We keep this data for [RETENTION PERIOD].

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you submit a project

The “Submit a project” form asks about the project: its name, link, type, jurisdiction, licence and a short description. It does not ask for your name or email. Please don’t put personal data in the description.

• When you open the form, it loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check. Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser details, to tell people from bots.
• Your submission goes through a small service we run on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may keep short technical logs of these requests.
• The submission is then stored on GitHub, in a private place that only the maintainers can see. We keep it for [RETENTION PERIOD].
• If we add the project to the list, its details are published on this site.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the project list and keeping it free of spam (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you sign up for the tracks

The “Send me the tracks” form on the Learn page asks for your work email. [FORM SERVICE] stores it for us. We use it only to [PURPOSE].
