Invoice Data Extractor
Extracts invoice fields, including SGST and CGST, from images with OCR and a local LLM.
What it does
Reads an invoice image, extracts the text with PaddleOCR and has the Mistral-7B model pull out invoice number, date, customer, line items, SGST, CGST and totals into JSON and CSV files. It is a Python script that needs PyTorch, PaddlePaddle and Transformers, so the model runs on your own machine. The README shows one sample invoice and no tests or accuracy figures; MIT licence.
