.NET library that validates EU VAT numbers through the European Commission's VIES service.
What it does
Checks whether an EU VAT identification number is valid or active for intra-Community transactions, from one combined string or a country code and number, through the European Commission's VIES REST API or the legacy SOAP endpoint. It is a .NET library; no key is needed but it depends on VIES being up. GB numbers are no longer supported by VIES since 1 January 2021 because of Brexit; Apache 2.0.
