Rust API server for VAT number validation, ECB exchange rates, VAT rates and IP geolocation.
What it does
A self-hosted HTTP API that validates VAT numbers against VIES, serves ECB exchange rates and VAT rates by country and geolocates an IP address, as JSON matching the original api.vatcomply.com. It is written in Rust and runs as a binary or in Docker; a MaxMind database is optional and no API key is needed. A release binary falls back to an embedded ECB snapshot when offline; MIT.
