Validates VAT and GST numbers in two stages: a syntax check against the number type's pattern, then a lookup in the government database, returning Verified, Unverified or Unavailable. A Rust crate with feature flags for EU VAT (VIES), UK VAT (HMRC), Swiss VAT (BFS) and Norwegian VAT; EU VAT is on by default.
