PolicyEngine MCP
MCP server for PolicyEngine's database and tax-benefit simulations.
What it does
An MCP server that lets an AI assistant query PolicyEngine's database of variables, parameters, policies and datasets, run tax-benefit simulations and compute aggregates and counts on the results, including read-only SQL. It is a Python package registered with Claude Code and needs a PolicyEngine database password and a path to the policyengine.py source. No licence file is in the repository.
Licence unknown: we found no licence we could recognise. Check with the maintainers before you reuse the code.
Where it fits on the map
Not on the map: inactive.
The map places maintained projects for a company tax department or a tax authority, without a demo or paid-service flag. Everything else stays on the list with its label.
