PolicyEngine API
REST API that computes the impact of tax and benefit policies with the PolicyEngine models.
What it does
PolicyEngine's REST API for computing policy impacts: send household or reform data and get the effects computed by the PolicyEngine country models. It is a Python Flask service (3.10 or 3.11) that needs MySQL, Redis, a GitHub microdata token, an OpenAI API key and a Hugging Face token; the README is for contributors. UK calculations need dataset access you may not have; AGPL-3.0.
