What it does
.NET library that checks whether a national ID, tax ID, VAT number or postal code is well formed for 87 countries, using the check digits each country publishes, in-process with no network call. It installs as a NuGet package for netstandard2.0 or net8.0. The README says it cannot tell whether a number is registered (that needs VIES), and a KNOWN-ISSUES file lists 19 open gaps.
