Node.js sales tax and VAT calculator with offline rates and an optional VAT number check.
What it does
Node.js library that returns the sales tax or VAT rate for a country and state and calculates the total with tax, offline from bundled rates, with an optional online VIES check of EU VAT numbers. It needs only Node.js and is for developers billing international customers. Rates ship as package updates, so an old version has old rates; tax numbers outside the EU, US and Canada count as invalid.
