IRS IDES data preparation samples
IRS sample code (.NET, Java, OpenSSL, shell) for encrypting and packaging FATCA submissions for IDES.
What it does
IRS sample code for the data preparation step of the International Data Exchange Service (IDES), which accepts only encrypted FATCA submissions; sister repositories carry the same sample for .NET, OpenSSL and Unix shell. The Java README holds only a heading; the others describe the service and point to the IRS FAQs. Every repository is archived and the IRS says not to use the code in production.
Where it fits on the map
Not on the map: archived.
The map places maintained projects for a company tax department or a tax authority, without a demo or paid-service flag. Everything else stays on the list with its label.
