Scala library that checks whether an EU VAT number is valid, following the VIES specification.
What it does
A Scala library with one check method: give it an EU VAT number, with or without the ISO country code, and it returns true or false according to the VIES specification. Built with sbt for Scala or JVM projects. The repository was archived in March 2024 and is read-only, and the README offers a more permissive licence for commercial use on request, so check the licence before reuse.
