TaxAI
React and FastAPI app for Indian tax planning with regime comparison, document OCR and AI chat.
What it does
React and FastAPI web app for Indian taxpayers: upload Form 16, payslips, invoices or bank statements for OCR extraction, see the tax under the old and new regimes with 80C and 80D deductions, simulate tax-saving options and chat with an AI assistant. Uses MongoDB, a vector database, LangChain and a Groq LLM. Built for educational and hackathon purposes; no licence file, no setup instructions.
Licence unknown: we found no licence we could recognise. Check with the maintainers before you reuse the code.
Where it fits on the map
Not on the map: a demo and for individual taxpayers.
The map places maintained projects for a company tax department or a tax authority, without a demo or paid-service flag. Everything else stays on the list with its label.
