What it does
Prepares a US federal Form 1040 and its schedules from W-2 and 1099 forms for tax years 2020 to 2025 and outputs the filled PDF; only Illinois has a partial state return. It runs as a web app at ustaxes.org or a desktop build, and data stays in the browser's local storage, so nothing leaves the computer. Built by a community that asks users to report errors in the output; licensed AGPL-3.0.
