Capital Gains Calculator
Python tool for UK capital gains tax on broker transaction histories using HMRC matching rules.
What it does
Takes a broker export (nine brokers or a custom format), converts prices to GBP, applies the UK same-day, 30-day and Section 104 rules and writes a PDF report of proceeds, costs, gains, dividends and interest for a tax year. A Python command-line tool; LaTeX is needed for the PDF. The README calls it a calculation aid, not tax advice; it neither works out the final bill nor files a return.
