canatax
Lightweight Canadian sales and income tax calculator.
What it does
Estimates Canadian federal and provincial income tax, CPP or QPP, EI and QPIP from an annual gross income and a province code, and GST, PST, HST or QST on a purchase amount, with 2025 rates. A Python package with no dependencies, for developers who need rough figures in applications. The README calls them estimates only: no credits beyond the basic personal amount, no deductions, not for filing.
Where it fits on the map
Not on the map: inactive.
The map places maintained projects for a company tax department or a tax authority, without a demo or paid-service flag. Everything else stays on the list with its label.
